How it Works?
Self-gripping fasteners consist of two elements:
- The hook element has a surface made of either a mushroom or
arrowhead-shaped gripping part.
- The loop element has a surface comprising of loop fibres.
These elements are made of textile or plastic.

Closure is obtained by pressing the two elements
together.
When the two elements are pressed together (i.e the "closing"),
the hooks engage the loops.
To open, just pull apart.
